Established in February in 2012 our salon owner, Kerry, started in her spare room at home with just a desk and five gel polish colours her business has gone from strength to strength. The name Millou is a mash up of her two children's names Millie and Louis. Her next move was to rent a small room with one treatment room and brought her sister Sophie in as her little helper at the tender age of just 14. Sophie is now senior therapist and has worked with Kerry for  8 years through thick and thin. Her next step was to move into a new salon in which she built four treatment rooms  and continued to develop by training with nail celebrities such as Gemma Lambert and Kirsty Meakin. She made her final and most challenging move this year throughout lockdown and she is now the proud owner of a beautiful salon with nine treatment rooms including a double massage room and relaxation area with a fantastic four strong team including Sophie, Abbie and her lovely trainee Jen. As an amazing team they have now won two awards and are so proud, to be "2019 Nail team of the year" in the Northeast Beauty Industry Awards and "2020 Beauty team of the year" for the English Nails, Brows and Lashes Awards. 

We are heading towards our ten year anniversary full of hope and excitement about where this wonderful and exciting industry will take us next and we cant wait to meet you.
